PDPC Registration No. 0-000-011-631 · BRELA business licence No. 20000070868
SwahiliPay enables merchants to collect payments by mobile money and card, receive webhooks, and settle collected funds to a designated merchant account. Collections are processed through our licensed payment service provider partner, Selcom Paytech Limited.
SwahiliPay works with Selcom Paytech Limited (“Selcom”), our licensed payment service provider partner. Selcom is authorised to collect payments from your customers and to process settlement of collected funds. SwahiliPay does not hold customer money — funds flow through Selcom and the relevant mobile network operators or card networks according to their rules and settlement schedules.
We charge a platform fee on successful collections as shown on our website or in your merchant agreement. Net collections settle to your merchant account on a daily schedule (midnight cut-off) subject to PSP processing and compliance checks.
We may suspend or terminate access if we suspect fraud, AML/CFT violations, chargeback abuse, or breach of these Terms. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you unless prohibited by law or risk considerations.
SwahiliPay is provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by Tanzanian law. We are not liable for indirect losses, network outages by MNOs, or delays caused by third-party processors beyond our reasonable control.
